People have set in motion awareness towards being fit and healthy. So what are the ways to lose weight effectively? First thing to do is make a decision to lose weight. Second is to know yourself, try a new diet and know what will work for you. Third, is exercise, stick to an exercise that you will enjoy, and fourth is teach yourself discipline and patience to stick to your exercise and diet for more than 6 months. Others think that you can cheat in losing weight. I committed those mistakes for years and look where it got me, it affected my self-confidence, made me sick and it affected my performance at work. I decided to change for good. It wasn’t a trail in the park and until now, I’m still trying to stick with my new lifestyle. It wasn’t easy at first but when you see the results, you become more motivated especially when people around you notice it, encourage you, and praise you.

        It’s just like riding a bike; you just have to keep pedalling until you get to your destination. My confession to make is I’ve lose more weight now compared to the time when I only eat once a day and starve myself until the end of the day. I can now fit my clothes from two years ago and everyone can see the changes in my body too.         When you have lost some weight, having a tone and fit body is not the only benefit.  Zumba, is a Latin dance-fitness program that can be classified into three levels: mild, moderate and severe. Doing Zumba makes you forget that you’re working out, instead you just feel like your dancing in a club or party. It’s fun and it feels good.

Barre workout is a blend of ballet, yoga, pilates, and dance. This will help your muscles be toned, shaped, and improve the elasticity of your muscles without making it bulge. You should try it too. It’s not just a work out for your body but also a good exercise for your brain when you follow steps and execute them in harmony with the music.

Pilates is an exercise that stems from control in the body. It teaches the body good control, improves muscle tone, balances musculature and corrects posture. The intensity of the workout can be adjusted from beginners to advance until the body has developed muscle memory and familiarity. This is also a good workout to do, when I am doing this, I feel my stubborn fats burning. Every day I do it, the more my stamina and endurance increases, the stronger I become.

Caveman workout is a cavemen-inspired workout. It involves lifting sandbags, pulling ropes, pulling sleds backwards, etc. It literally depicts a life of a Caveman. It’s not just an exercise but it also has its own diet to follow. It helps in burning fats effectively, build muscle strength, endurance and stamina, gives your body core power.

Wii Fit is an exercise games created by Nintendo. You do the exercise by stepping on the Wii Balance board. It consists of different exercises focusing on strength, yoga for posture, and dance like hula-hoop for cardio. It will help you learn to stand balance in your feet; the trainers will explain the instructions and demonstrate the exercise first until you can follow, you don’t even need to pay for a trainer at the gym.

Kinect Fitness is an Xbox exercise game. You don’t need a controller and console to play the game. You serve as the controller itself. The Kinect Fitness will train you to move and provide you impressive results.

Last but not the least, CrossFit Workout, it is an online application where it provides high intensity different workouts for a day, it guarantees that nobody will repeat an exercise group for the day that is why it is called the workout of the day. Anyone can choose the focus of each exercise from endurance, stamina, weight lifting etc. The workout of the day (WOD) are named after fallen heroes, soldiers, cops, and some of the most popular workout are named after women such as Angie, Barbara, Chelsea, Diane, Elizabeth, Fran, Grace, Helen, Isabel, Jackie, Karen, Linda, Mary, and Nancy.
